First time for me. I've worked the FD end of the deal in support before but not the actual assembly and shooting them off.
Never realized there is so much work work prior to shooting them off. All electronic and remote. It's an all day job for a show.

The new electronic method is much better, we used to set the mortars and light the ordnance with flares!

I'll tell ya, it's not easy having to stick out your stomach like that all the time!!
Took me years to perfect that vintage stomach.
