Good morning fellow Woods.
Here's my story and I'm sticking to it. Been looking at some vintage equipment and having some fun. Lots of iron on Craigslist but not much of anything you might want to take home, with a reasonable price anyway. Through a friend of a friend of a friend scenario, I found a 1982 GL 1100 with 22,000 actual miles, one owner. This thing has been well cared for and is in extremely good condition so on an asking price of $2,500, popped out $1900 and everybody went home happy. I had an absolute blast on the 90 mile drive home waving at all the Harley drivers and noting their total indifference. Hahaha. I gave these dudes the hardcore, over animated two fingers down in a big way LOL. Only one guy returned my wave but we can't turn this into a wave thread :-(
End of story.

I will add I am in possession of a $1,300 receipt, where the previous owner had done major tune up stuff in June of 2016. Motivated seller, as he was retiring and moving in 3 weeks.
