Guys, you're right. I shouldn't have done it. From this point forward I will only post here, in avionics threads and ones that deal with precision fabrication. I am sticking with my areas of expertise.

The young ones are funny to watch, like a kitten or a puppy or..... any young one. Ah hell who am I telling Grandpa Oldie knows. How's the new addition?

Seriously though.. He has a pretty small garden and what he did was to drive some tall stakes around the garden and tie yellow caution ribbon around it and then hung those disposable aluminum pie pans so they moved in any breeze. He said it worked for him
I'll try that method. I think I see some of my neighbors with similar set ups. If that don't work, I may end up with some tenderloin in my freezer.

I have seen people fill plastic bags with water and hang them on the perimeter of an area to discourage critters. Something to do with light refraction.

That might well work too. Deer as prey animals are very attuned to their surroundings, but are also creatures of habit. Something new or unusual makes them nervous.

That makes sense when you put it that way. All my neighbors have outdoor dogs, so I'm surprised they are still coming in the yard. I guess they're used to the dogs too.
