Part of it that my laptop is running Red Hat Linux which only supports a few drivers and resolutions
My XP 'puter has real limited choices with the Linux version I'm running off a dvd, try higher resolutions and it stretches, too. One of these days want to put Ubuntu on a hard drive, have heard it handles hardware pretty good. Hopefully will be running 4K resolution before the end of the year, which will require updating my video card; hope someone has figured out a driver for that by then. Great hardware these days, software, not so much.
I run Ubuntu 16.04 on my personal laptop. It works well and there is a lot of free software out there for Linux these days. And if you cannot run it natively on Linux you can run it with Wine that allows you to run Windows programs, though it is somewhat limited when it comes to hardware interfacing
So I walked into the bar and went right over to the biggest Mfer there to punch him right in the face. He went out cold. I then proceeded to bend his girlfriend over the bar and took the skin buss to tuna town!
