Just put them to work. They are old enough to run the lawn mower and week wacker. If they go door to door mowing lawns, you could make a killin! Who can resist a 5 year old with hedge trimmers?

Remember to watch for the little buggers on the roadways, they are definitively quicker now, so don't forget to lead them a bit more.

Last time the little tykes showed up and asked if they could mow our grass, they wanted $40 for the front yard, I figured it'd take me 20 minutes to do it.
