Sorry I'm tired.
You are talking about a jack style lift. I have one but felt it would be too unstable for this project. I would love to have an air lift table which would have made some of this work a breeze :-)

 

I posted a pic up above. I don't really need it and the J&S. I used it on my sport bikes and I had the RK on it once or twice. It is plenty stable even with a big bike on it. It is an air lift setup too.
