If you look by the temp know, there is a little hole that can be used with a pen. By pushing the button, you change the P# from 0 to 6 I do believe. The P setting is used for smoking and what it does is it changes how many seconds the igniter is off for.
Guess its up to 9.

The longer the auger is off, the colder the temp, giving it a more smoky flavour. But if you have it too long, you could run into losing the flame and the auger filling the bottom of the traeger. Then you have to remove the grills, plate, clean out the bottom and start again.
Howdy Wooders - Ya, I'm still kickin and above ground.
Full week at the show in Decatur and thanks a lot for having a show the week of labor day weekend. Got home Friday night in time to kiss the wife and start tearing into the VB bike water pump seal failure. Got two hours into it at that time.
Worked again on Saturday AM until a family "thing" for the afternoon....then back into it Sat night for awhile. 8 hour finale today and the %$@**&%$@ thing is back together and running. The two funnest things were scraping 35 year old gasket material off aluminum cases while standing on your head (no lift table) because you are working on the lower half of the motor front. Then upon reassembly the front half goes on while keeping 7 O-rings, 2 sleeves and the main gasket in place ......again on your head.
I tell ya, this water cooling ain't all it's cracked up to be. All that labor for a seal that went bad from sitting. No way was I going to pay 5 bills plus parts to get it done.
Now, I must retire gents after a few motor picks ....yes, motors and cycles on TOAK !!
