I'm just gonna fire up the old trusty charcoal grill tomorrow for a couple of steaks. Had this grill for probably 13 years, still in great shape.

I have to say after 20 some years of cooking with gas I'm loving this new/old way.
If you were to go gas, you can put chips in a pan over the fire to get some smoke.

Only pro on gas is convenience and constant heat. I've tried the smoke packets on gas, and it does not come close to a smoker. Paula took apart the BBQ a month ago and in the steel bin it went.

Tim, I usually smoke ribs on my dedicated charcoal smkore for 5-6 hours. Can I figure the same for the Treager?
