Yes, our programmers write the code, test it then we have to put it into place for production. Usually it replaces existing code, but then you have to go through and test to make sure everything works as it is supposed to, and tweak anything that is not handled by the deployment scripts
True, you'd think they would have some better coders than what the product has shown. Since I don't have that fancy schmancy stuff I am not in a hurry to even find out what programming language it runs on
