Mornin, Greg. So far they seem to be OK. Said the chimney cap blew off and that is all the damage to date. Tons of rain obviously but not flooding in their area.
Man those folks in Houston have gotten hammered and more rain to come from what they are saying. They are releasing more water from a couple key reservoirs today.

I know someone that had that problem with a lightning strike, put a tarp over it but forgot his gas hotwater heater vented out that chimney, could have been a deadly mistake if his neighbor hadn't pointed that out to him!!

Not a good situation when the sacrifice the surrounding community to save the historical city... don't know what the real answer wood be but....
