Background: Pace of play recently at golf has been horrendously slow at our usual haunts. So I was asked to pick a different place.
Her: Pick a place, but try this or this 1st.
Me: Ok, neither are available.
Her: Ok, pick a place.
Me: Ok, here's a time at this place. ( a bit farther than she normally likes to go, but not outrageous.)
Her: No, I don't want to go that far when we don't like to go to ...... because it's far.
Me: Ok, you pick a place then.
Her: No, I told you to.
Me: I just did and you said no, so now it's your turn.
Her, Pick a place......
Good God, I can't win.

Replace "place" with a place to order dinner or stuff to get from the store for dinner and that is my life and wife

And she just asked me what I want for dinner. I said a rotisserie or fried chicken form the grocer store and got "the look". Asked what she wanted and got......well, it wasn't the quarterlies

Evenin', Woods....no riding today, slight "Weebles" issue..not bad but enough to just sit around today.
