I tried Amsoil and was happy with it but the only place to get it was a hassle to get to, so I started running Valvoline 4T 20W-50 full syn in the engine and primary and 75W-140 full syn in the trans. Lots cheaper, too.

 

I ran the Redline in it for the last 10k and HD Formula for 20k before that and no problems with either.....just trying different stuff. Even flushed the rear brakes on the Springer,too. Couldn't tell but it may have been the original fluid in it, still looked pretty good. New 4 piston caliper coming Monday for the front. That should make a big difference.....

 

Yup, that should help with feel.
