Rich, it appears the left lane isn't good on the bike's mechanical condition in the first set of videos.

Then you've NEVER been to an AHDRA or AMRA drag race.
I'd say 1/3 rd of the teams are either club related or sponsored in one way or another. Nothing better than sitting at Sturgis, Daytona or Palmdale when the Bandido's and HA's are in the semi finals or finals and each rider has about 10 club members at the line with them.
NHRA has one Harley bike and that's V&H pro-stock bike. Harley Davidson doesn't sponsor drag bikes unless it's a dealership that has a bike in the line up. then you will see "such and such Haley Davidson".

It takes massive ***** to strap 1,000 Hp between your legs and twist a throttle that only turns 1/4 because it's made to be driven wide open.
During a test and tune day in Sacramento raceway I watched a club member die from the cylinder head launching off the block into the frame hitting his chest so hard it caused his heart to stop.
That's what happens when you get off and on the throttle of nitro bikes, possible destruction of the motor. He was from the biggest club in the world and the bike was flat out frightening it was so fast. Bill Fur himself delivered the bike to the raceway and was giving tips how to ride it. he was warning of the very situation that happened prior to the accident. It's was a very sad scary day. Bill Fur is another legend in the Race world. Clubs are heavily involved in Harley Drag bikes. It would be pointless not to wear club colors it would also be against club bylaws to not have them on while riding a bike, especially a dragster for the world to see.
