MIck, I agree on the Kona side of the Big Island. More room to stretch out over there. After touring the island yesterday I have decided this is not the place to rent a bike as duck walking it around the island would not be fun. I'm sure there are people who take the bad with the good but I don't have time for that.
I have a house in Pahoa at the tide pools. You have to go to Uncle Roberts on Wed. night! It's in Kalapana. Beautiful ride along the water. Get the heck away from the airport side of the island. Nothing but tourist and junk.
Then you gotta ride to south point and go cliff jumping. Awesome biker dive bar before you get to the jumps. can't miss it. South point is on same side of island as Uncle Roberts and kalapana

Hey Rich! No, I'm stuck on Oahu but Mick and I were musing about our favorite places here in the islands.
Ahh, **** got me excited. I'll be there for Christmas - New Years. Do a little work on the house and, cliff jumping and snorkeling. We have a boat but it's docked Honokohau harbor so it's about a 2 hour drive from the house.
We live at Captain Cook bay from sunrise to sunset swimming with spinner dolphins in the summer BBQ on the boat. ****, I wanna go NOW

Morning all, thunder boomies most of the night, just cloudy now but looks like today will be no Kubbing and off to shop for tile for the kitchen re-model..
Cliff diving...now there's something I don't have on my bucket list, and probably won't add.
Appears whatever baffle material Rineheart sticks in their pipes is gone in mine, what are you guys using to repack?
