TOAK the Thread Of All Knowledge IX
Marcus, years back I owned a condo at the Kona Billfisher on Alii Drive in Kona. Used t go over in August for the billfish tournament and in December . My choice for best place to live in the islands, the Kona side of the big island. Sold mine when they turned them into timeshares.
I stopped doing that, Rick. The neighbors were beginning to talk.

Hey Rich! I over-clicked my gas cap in my zeal to get on the road Saturday. I need to cruise the forum for tips about preventing that

Good Morning Woods!
Made it back home last night after 9pm. We rode from McBride home for a total of 459 miles. Not a big feat for some, but with my buddy, it was huge. It was his longest trip ever on a bike, 1140 miles. But the last day, we left in the pouring rain and arrived in the pouring rain. Probably 90% of the trip yesterday was rain. Not only rain, but smoke as thick as a fall fog. I've never seen smoke so thick before. I could see the headlight off passing vehicles and the gauge cluster light. Of course, this was during the afternoon.
My buddy has never rode in the rain before, let alone heavy smoke, he had an issue with trusting his bike in curves and would slow down (seemed to get better when it was raining and little visibility hahaha), and the longest day ride for him.
We had a blast, great rides, great weather, great camaraderie learned some things about ones self. Sure don't like being away from the Mrs that long. Kinda wished she would have been able to join. Riding in a whole day of rain isn't all thats cracked up to be, but not terrible. I did get a ******* in Hinton though. A dodge diesel was passing me on the 4 lane pulling their holiday trailer and while it was going by, the exhaust was very warm. So I sped up and warmed up a bit. Good thing it wasn't deleted or I would have been pretty black.
Overall, beautiful ride, no issues and was a relaxing time.
So, what I miss in here?
