Yesterday on my ride up from South Carolina I saw what has to be one of the stupidest people ever on the road.


I'm buzzing along at about 80 (my normal slab speed) when up ahead I noticed a car that appeared to be a LEO. Sure enough, as I slowed down I saw it was a NC trooper. So I'm hanging back and pacing him at 70 on the dot. There was an SUV between me and the trooper. Suddenly I saw the car roll out to the left and I thought, "Oh surely he's not gonna do what I think he is..."


Sure as hell this guy passes a f'n state trooper who is doing the speed limit and speeds up. I was still pacing the trooper and he gets up to about 80mph following the car and then lights him up. I couldn't resist yelling "Dumbass!" as I rolled by.
