Beth's Grandma passed away overnight. Not sure if that means they want us to go up to visit or not. With the kids being 5 and 7 and not remembering her I am not sure it does anything for them and they may just be a couple of hellians running around at a somber time.

 

Sorry to hear that, Marcus. Do what you feel led to do. In my experience getting out of 'having to show' up is easy if ya have young kids. Just call and say, "We know there are lots of details to arrange and we won't be much help if we have to spend our time watching the kids."

Mick, I agree...when one of us (me) would be chasing the kids and not involved in any of the planning then it is like I am not even there, so why be there?
