Nice to hear you made it home safe, Mike! A pleasure to meet you!

 

It started out 10+ years ago as a free rally, then they started charging an entrance fee of $35-45. I have never personally gone because its an event in July which is routinely very hot and humid and I can think of better things to do than walk around in an open area in riding clothes after paying to get in and sweat my *** off all day. I don't know why they don't schedule it in Sep when temps are cooler although I suppose they don't want to compete with WVU Football.

To their credit they do have some good acts like this year was Hank Jr, George Thorogood, etc....

It is true, I saw Mick through the door crack watching me practice waving. I take the "Wave" quite seriously and while I was riding "Bitch", I did not want to hinder my host while his focus was on my safe arrivals. While knowing this, I practiced waving without body movement, but still with elegance. I do believe we were a match made in heaven, as we graced our presence in Maggie Valley.
