I haven't been to a WS meet yet, don't feel like I oughta vote, but... I've got a truck at last, and looking for a big enclosed cargo trailer, at least 16'. Should have it before next year, since I'm supposed to haul a couple bikes to the Black Hills next October. If that all works out ok, and you pick the Black Hills, even though it's not that far from me, I'd trailer out, bring a good set of tools & jack, and hopefully have enough room to take someone else along and hopefully not have to rescue anyone, but if needed... Hope you're not thinking the Sturgis week with that, be so crowded the roads probably wouldn't be much fun.

I went to Sturgis for the 75th and though it was fun, it was crowded. I'd like to ride the areas I did not get to that week during a non-rally week.

Iron Mountain Rd is a hoot. I ride it every time I'm up there.

I was at Sturgis last summer a week before the official rally and there was plenty of bike traffic already, but nothing compared to the horror stories folks at the Buffalo Chip were telling me where it took 2+ hours to go from the Chip to the town of Sturgis which might be 3 miles.

I made my pilgrimmage at the 75th also. Those horror stories are no joke.

Can't believe no one has picked Kansas.

We will schedule AROUND Sturgis if SD is the choice. Don't want to be anywhere near that place when the pilgrimage starts.
