That is a noisy condition some newer Indians develop just after driving them off the Dealer's lot.
Many owners described it as loud and obnoxious and Polaris claims they don't have an answer. In fact the standard answer is "they all do that". These guys in some cases spend 30 large on a bike that makes such a racket they're embarrassed to be driving it. Typically the noise kicks in around 2000 RPM under little or no load.
