Intermittent Greg, if it sits for a couple days it will just click. Changed the relay behind the seat , seemed to be fixed. Last weekend click. Tightened the wires on the relay on the splash shield in front of the rear fender, seemed to be good.
Today click. Pulled that relay today , cleaned the contacts, put it back in , hesitation then start. Been starting all day. Going to see if I can find one tomorrow.
I had the solenoid apart cleaned the copper contact in it. Getting power to the startedr 14 volts while running do do do basic **** checked.
Bottom line if it starts it will restart all day long. Let it set.....

There's plenty of hills down there, should be no problem getting it started as long as we are on the top of the hill. Yes Lou time for a kicker.

Question Mark. Could the copper L that makes contact with the solinoid straight? Sometimes when you tighten the positive stud on the starter it will rotate a bit preventing full contact with the copper washer. Makes for a weak or no crank situation.

Do you have the button bypass on the starter? Helps with narrowing down the issue.
