Just changed my garage over to LED, 4 fixtures at $48, them old flourescents had some real issues in the colder temperatures

Always used High Output...never a problem in unheated garage. Garoffice is heated but use them anyway. 7 sets of double 8' lights.....LEDs would be expensive.

All the led's ( 4 footers ) that I've seen use a "pull chain" to turn them on ... I have eight 4 footers in the front garage ... that's a lot of "yanking yer chain"
