I've read reviews on Amazon on the Wagners and definitely very mixed.

I've painted a lot of fence with a siphon gun!

 

I painted my fence about 10 years ago (Father's Day weekend ironically) and it was a friggen mess and took 2 full days!

I had a Wagner 40 yrs ago, one of the early ones. I painted my parents 2 story house with it...lot of trips up and down the ladder to refill that quart can. I've had others since and they were always a PITA even when you kept them meticulously clean.

 

Craig, if you have a several big projects, invest in a commercial airless sprayer. You always sell it when your done. I bought one to do a house about 10 yrs ago, put it away and dug it out last month and it worked like a dream to do 50' of fencing, a 2 car stucco garage and my 4 car vinyl sided garage.

Best way to paint....Hire somebody...Sit on a lawn chair, with a cold beverage, and watch!!
