So who can explain what the heck this "Stage 1" and "Stage 2" crap at Daytona is all about? Is this not a 500 mile race any longer?

 

They changed the rules/running of the race to award points to the top 10 cars at the end of each stage, but still also (unless I am wrong) award extra points to the winner at the end of the race. Just more SJW bastardizing of tradition in the hopes to make someone feel more loved.

 

So everyone gets a trophy?

 

In a nut shell....yes! That'd be like saying I had an A+ average my senior year....til I stopped going to class (on day 2), then expecting a reward for it later if life
