LOL That was actually a concern buddy and one of the reasons I didn't really go as far as I had originally intended. It is a touring bike and I do like to tour on it.

I haven't had a chance to get it out on the slab to check the mpg. But right now between start and stop and some highway stuff I'm averaging about 36mpg as far as I can tell.

Start with the headers buddy. Yer gonna need 'em anyway.

Amazon had them for a good price when I got mine and they're easy to install yourself. You'll notice a difference just with them and there will be a lot less heat on yer right leg!
