I guess......might be running out of things to complain about....Brother and I keep saying " WTF is she gonna complain about next?" After her first morning there, she says in a pissed off attitude " They brought my breakfast at a Quarter after seven"....my brother says " What time do you normally eat breakfast?"....She says "7:30".....

 

Been there done that Al! Hahaha!

 

Jeez, it's never ending with her....it's only a matter of time before me or my brother scream "STFU!"

 

Never happy. She will realize after a while she is in a safe place. Hopefully she'll make a few friends.

 

Mornin Woods! Sick kids overnight so I was up from 2-3:30 before finally getting back to sleep.

 

Never going to happen, she lives to complain and if there is nothing real to complain about, she fabricates something. She 's in constant need of sympathy and attention. She will make absolutely no attempt to be social with others. Unfortunately, I have a very strong feeling that she won't be able to go home again. Just a very sad way to spend your final years.

Al, I'm curious. With my mother in her eighties and faltering, I'm beginning to see some of the same symptoms. Can I ask, was your mother always somewhat "that way" or have these issues been much more complicated with her age? My mother never used to complain and these days it seems she needs a lot of attention.
