Chuck, you mentioned you are going with American Elite tires. That is what I changed mine to and so far, so good. Tracy had a problem with a set and if I recall only got about 4k out one before it had to be replaced.

Mick I'm choosing American Elites because is hard to argue with how my oem tires lasted. They are essentially the same tire but with a slightly different tread pattern and no Harley logos. I was considering Commander IIs but some have reported them not lasting very long at all. I know " your mileage may vary" as they say.

I see lots of positive comments on the newer version or non Harley version of the Elites.
