Greg, I went to the dealer to get rocker cover gaskets. They sold me a pair of the bottom gaskets but not the upper ones , do those not need to be replaced ?

You need the upper ones, not the lowers. Depending on how they come off, you may not need them, but they're inexpensive.

I'll pick up the uppers. The lowers were about six bucks each.
