Back! Turns out the thermostat just needed new batteries. My FIL put in dead batteries backwards...and wondered why it didn't work and would not go back to check his own work, instead waiting a week for me to find time to get over there. Just another day in the life of a WAOPSHPOV IMC PeckerWood!

Looks like it! what tires have you decided on?

 

I'm going with Dunlop American Elites. Same as factory,just different tread pattern.

 

I see a lot of positive feedback in the Forum on them.
You have been tossing around another idea.

 

Evening Woods. Back from dinner and drinks with Kristi. Chuck, I had some American Elites as my last tires and had no complaints. I got nearly 12K out of the rear and the front probably still had another 4K left on it but for a cupping issue. I decided to change to Metzler 888s which you may have seen during WS'16. They feel a tad more grippy than the Elites but will probably wear faster. I am not adverse to changing tires every 8-10K to keep lotsa tread on because you know I don't stop for rain.
