Speaking of wandering, I just received a text from Jack. He's rolling from southern Louisiana and had stopped for a biscuit and Red Bull. He sent a pic....

Man what I wouldn't give for some sunshine t-shirt riding weather these days. Safe travels!

Gotta have a cup holder or two. Proper hydration is important! When we were coming back from WS16 and crossing Kansas, it was 104 degrees. The water I had on board got too hot too drink, but it worked great if you poured it over yourself for some evaporative cooling!

Seen on a trailer on Interstate 35 one day....
"If my wife let me ride her as much as I like to ride my bike, I'd be home now"

Socialism only works for those content with mediocrity and if it is voluntary. I never heard of a story where someone in the 80's went to Russia for medical services, nor people seeking out Soviet era electronics....etc. The only success stories from the Soviet Union were the AK (Not sure if it was the 47, 74 or both) and I think MIG jets, but I don't know enough about aircraft to know if that is true or stereotypes from the movies.

Driving back from WS16, I was wondering how you guys were doing in that heat. Proper hydration is a must!

I heard of the infamous "Topeka Turnpike Wet T-Shirt contest", now I know who was involved.
