No dyno yet. He wants to get 500 miles on the new stuff and get it broken in first before we put a lot of stress on the new rings etc.


If I can just get a few days without rain I can knock that out damn quick

Should pick an additional 20hp or so at the rear wheel...

Glad the install went well for ya Mark. I know I sure do like my DD6 a lot. Made a big difference a highway speeds!

I can't wait to recalibrate that speedometer so I can see what the mph/rpm looks like. I can tell it is way off.

I'm betting that if you are in 6th gear, at 2500rpm you'll be going 70mph

Me too Greg. I'm actually kinda glad I didn't go all the way with what I originally had in mind. Hell it's a touring bike and I do like to do just that. I would've had a lot of power but the mpg would've sucked. I hope I haven't lost much with what we did.


Maybe I'll build a hot rod bike later...
