I wonder how much of his other books they will tie in with that movie? They almost HAVE to tie it in with IT since it comes out shortly after The Dark Tower.

That would be unforgivable travesty in my opinion, but certainly not out of character for modern film makers.
I predict that most who see it (much like the Lord of the Rings movies) will have never read the book and will think it's just awesome.

I'm thinking somebody is a little upset that they left Tom Bombadil out of the fellowship movie.

There are a few Dark Tower references in IT, so it is legitimate to include them in the film
