I tried to get him to braid it or tie it up. Last time he cut it, it was mid chest or so. I think he gets temperamental and just says Fu$k it.

I once had a few beers with L.D. ***, may he RIP. One of the finest men I have ever met. He was a survivor of the USS Indianapolis. His YouTube videos are the best.

I asked L.D. why he joined the Navy. He said the Navy put up a sign outside of Comanche Texas that said in short, "Join the Navy, there's women in every Port."

That's why he joined, and that cracked me up...

I have a beard once in a while. With work, some places I go I can't have facial hair.

Dan, you got me to thinking. I have an old disc cooker I used to use. Stashed in my shop somewhere, gotta go dig it out. Basically a plow disc you weld handles on and use as a cooker, either gas or wood. I did wood fire on mine. Man, we spent some drunken nights cooking some Gottdamn good fajita's on that thing...

My last attempt at a beard didn't turn out too well.

That's looks good! I gotta go to a restaurant to get something like that here in NC. But I can fry some chicken and make biscuits!

Actually came in ok, too much salt and not enough pepper.
