Tracy (M), you can edit your pics size by selecting the post size before or after posting. It will show something like 2000x2000 and you can change that. I usually hit 700x700.

No need to cut it. My beard is several inches long. When I ride, I put 2 or 3 twist ties in it. Takes 10 seconds and done.
