Oh ya ... according to the "experts" ... it was an adapter which was attached to the block that the oil filter screwed on to. Funny thing is that after mine did it two other units did it also. After the replacement the oil pressure was much better ( before on a cold start it would read upwards of 90 lbs ) and reads around 60 psi then comes down when warm.
1999 F 150 with the 4.6L, auto trans. Feels like it is missing but doesn't sound like it is missing...if that makes any sort of sense

Clogged injector? Clogged fuel filter? Bad spark plug? ECM? None of those are serious and could lead to what you are describing.
Has your fuel consumption gone up ? Bad O2 sensor, running rich.
