To further our discussion of being a salesman. I just called a customer to let him know when his Grudge Box was going to ship and he was so ecstatic about being kept in the loop he added an oil pan to the order.

Sometimes it's the little things.

I believe it.....I've had no issues with the stock pads for 28k and there was still some left. Didn't feel like experimenting with something else to save a few bucks. While the shop had everything else apart, I just had them change them. I went for them because the new dealer pisses them off and they won't go in there. They charge them full list and won't honor their sales tax number.

Harley has really cracked down on indys everywhere from what I'm hearing. A few indy dealers told me Harley will only let them buy parts one at a time and yes at retail price.

The old dealer had me set up in the computer for 20% off all HD stuff...15% off non HD.

Cool, got a call from the cabin rental people and ownership is changing hands. Sounds like nothing changes on our end though other than where we pick up the keys.
