Thank you for asking. I'd gross you out with a broken foot pic, but....ewww! It even gave me the *******.
How badly was it broken? I have to ask how it happened.

She slipped in the bathroom and as she hit the floor her foot slammed into the wall. That's how she described it. Her foot was completely broken and dislocated above the ankle. The doc said it detached... Her leg was straight with knee up and foot was pointed sideways.

She did it Tuesday. Surgery was Wednesday. My brother and I both tried to talk her out of going home.

Hope she doesn't live too far away. How old is your Mom?

She is 75 and lives 15 minutes from my home and 30 minutes from my job. I feel terrible about her going, but she's quite stubborn.

Well, at least it's close. That won't matter at 2:30 in the morning, though.
Just speaking from experience.
I hope it goes well.

Me too! Thank you.
Goodnight "gentleman". Be good while I'm gone.
