I just got a price from Brighton HD for two tires for my scooter ( 2009 FLHTCU ) ... $950.00 ... ya right. Looks like I'll be back to doing my own work.

Well I'm in Shelby Twp so wouldn't normally go out of my way to go there but you always hate to hear of a business trying to take advantage of a friend. Sounds like the owner is using a mark up book that is no doupt going to negatively hurt his bottom line in the long run....

 

I believe they changed owners here a couple years back.

 

Yeah, but they say "Harley Davidson" on them......a lot of people get on the ground to see what name is on your tires

Larry, ordered tires yesterday from a local guy who's a friend. I didn't even ask the price but last time , he pulled the wheels , mounted two Dunlop Elites,put in Dynabeads and charged me 4 $100 bills.

 

I'm going with the Dunlop D407 front and rear. For a long time our dealer was the cheapest around ... They ran a special every spring, any tire size installed on the scooter for $160.00 plus $18.00 for a tube ( I have spoked wheels ) and it included balancing. Now I know that couldn't run that special but $450.00 per tire is friggin' ridiculous.
