It was an incredible experience Mick. So few of us appreciate the sacrifices made those three days in July of 1863 where there were over 51,000 casualties. Incredible.

I went all over the battlefield, climbed the towers, went through the museum. I didn't think I had enough left in my knee tank to tackle Antietam today

That pic of the cannons towards Little Round Top and all the open ground between it and the cannons is mesmerizing. The view from Little Round Top over the battlefield is just incredible. No wonder the Confederates wanted it, and the Union wanted to keep it.
