Nah, it ain't nothin like that. This is the SIL that complains about everything. She'd complain about anything BEFORE anything started. Plus, she is at work so she's not even available to blip my throttle!

blip my throttle ... Cross Thread Points ( no condenser though )
Made it to Ft. Collins in 1:15, not bad considering the weather.
Welcome to the TOAK, Gary. Pull up a stool and grab a cup.
What part of NC are you in?
Most likely the magazine. If it occurs with all of them it's likely a quick adjustment in the slide stop but my guess is the magazine. I am a 1911 guy personally but carried a sig p-220 for a long time . Great weapons.
I probably should have mentioned that the wife has two P238's and the other one functions great with the 6 extended and 2 stock mags from Sig.
I like the 1911 style also, but the Colts are a piece of crap now, the ones we looked at would have go immediately to a gunsmith to make them function right.
The Sig 1911 clones I have worked great right out of the box.
I carry a Sig ultra compact Sig in .45acp and all I did was clean and oil/grease it when new, ran a couple hundred rounds though it, cleaned it again and it went into carry use.
The P238 .380 is a nice pistol, but at almost $400 cheaper it shows a bit in the action, triggers have a bit of creap in them but shooting them has helped.
Nice guns for a small carry gun though, and fun to shoot.
This weekend is the Mushroom Festival for us. No, not the mind expanding ones, the edible wild morels. I will be studiously avoiding the downtown area.
Haven't had morels in a long time. Flavor varies with location, best I've had came from gray flood silt along the Missouri River in Missouri, had a bit of oyster flavor to them. I think filet mignon is cheaper than those little bags of morels at roadside vendors were.
I would like to thank the western woods for sending their lousy weather here. Cool today, but sunny. Rain and a high of 42 for tomorrow. With all the rain we've gotten in last few weeks, fields are flooded, yards are flooded, and it's hard to get anything done.
I had a pair of Mallards swimming in my backyard for a few days. The veggies I started in the house have crying, "Plant me, plant me!", but this week's frosts kept them indoors. Gonna try to stick some in the mud today. If my old aching back will let me...

Must be the season ... I've had a pair of Mallards for almost two weeks ... No water here either ... They do like to eat the bird seed though.

Mornin Al. I haven't bought a gun in a long time now, not a lot of places to shoot around here, and I like outdoors, not indoor gun ranges. Last one I got was an Ithaca 20ga featherlite, somehow my daughter's ex got that. Don't hunt, so don't really need a shotgun anyway. Grandson's getting big enough, one of these days will go out with him and his Dad and play with our .223s. Those get expensive to play with real quick...
