I've tried to convince most wimmins I know of that. Sadly it usually doesn't work.

Lou, did you have darkhorse do your crank?

 

Yup. And it's sitting on my workbench in my shop. My current crank is an S&S.

 

This is pretty cool.

 

How much they charge you if you don't mind me asking?

 

About $1100 with heavy duty rods. My big end rod bearings are what failed and killed my 107. DH has a great reputation. 2 year warranty on the crank. Personally I think the S&S crank is stronger.

 

That's better than I was expecting. I'm hoping to open the motor up this weekend and that's my prime suspect.

 

I've lost a wrist pin before too. Different vibration and noises. Crank rod was freeway, no load and slight throttle vibration noise with a vibration in the seat.

 

Corillo rods wood have been another $350. I went with the import rods. DH suggestion.
