I was pleased with the final result. They didn't want to charge me anything, but I told them I was evidently my own fault as I must have done it when I put the new seat on and paid them some cash anyway.
Next, new 14" apes and a stage 1 and that's all I'm doing to it except for some shiny stuff.
Yesterday was a great day. Got me some new runners (tires) and whirlies (bearings) on the bike. They said the whirlies were still in good shape, but hell, if you're taking the runners off, might as well change the whirlies. Loaded up in the trailer, was heading out and get a phone call from the shop. I guess they overcharged me $50 ($14.99 US) since they didn't need new rotor bolts. Turned around, got my $50 back and was very happy with the honesty.
