Had my buddy order a complete kit from LA Choppers. Stock bars suck. The have me leaning forward too much and my back just can't take more than a couple hundred miles of that **** (3 bulging discs). Didn't want to get too high with them, just need room to pull them back so I can lean in to a back rest for the long rides if I need to. I think the kit comes with new bushings as well.
Takes about 2 f'n hours to put new bars on a RK.
I've swapped bars out on several bikes, and if I was doing complete clutch cable and brake lines switch out, threading wires thru the bars, etc, I've never pulled it off in 2 hrs.

I'm Slow I guess.
On a King you have to remove the headlight assembly to get to 2 screws inside the nacelle and get the lock plate off as well.
