I can't believe how much my life can change in 24 hrs. Remains to be seen. Baby doll and I almost got married. I gave her a very nice engagement ring. Broke up in Oct, and last nite was a blur, but very nice...

How has things been with you?

 

All is well, Jack. Heading to Philly with the wife tomorrow. Her on business, me on sightseeing and arm candy duty. Be there for most of a week. Gonna try to hit Gettysburg.

 

Philly would suck, but to visit Gettysburg would be a monumental, and emotional experience. I've been to the Alamo several times, and each time the emotions and feelings are amazing. Very, don't want to say spiritual, but an overwhelming place to visit.

I think about the courage, to confront overwhelming odds, and it gets to me, it really does. Sounds stupid, but despite the fact it was almost 200 yrs ago is irrelevant. You have to experience it to understand. I'm sure Gettysburg would be on the same level...

 

Oh, I understand. I'm not terribly thrilled about Philly either, but a lot of history made there, so I'll get to see some of it.
It will be better than work, that's for sure.

I'm glad you got things sorted out for now. Hope things settle down for a bit.
