Afternoon Woodsmen!

Rain and wicked storms on the agenda today. We are headed to Daytona tondo a little shopping at the flea markets and motorcycles bizs in the area.

Last night on my way home after dark and a few beers I found myself approaching an interaction with a bar in the corner.

Cabbage Patch was the place. It was closed but it's an iconic stop during Bike Week and Biketoberfest.

 

Aftrnoon check in.....bathroom demolition has begun!...

 

Boo Yaa! take that, toilet....take that, vanity and medicine cabinet!!

 

No No No.....it's a new vanity, medicine cabinet and toilet.....just demo around tub, reframe, replumb and tile for a shower. All that other sh*t costs money. Have to keep reminding myself that it's a rental.

Take pictures for your records after all is done. Every room.


One more tip. If you do the work yourself, at least here in KY, you can deduct materials, but you can't deduct your labor from your taxes. Oh, and depreciate the **** out it every chance you get

 

Talked with my guy a while ago. He sez he can do some 10" mini apes on the king for about $225 put on.

 

Thanks for the tips. I've been considered self-employed for last 40 yrs....Know all the tricks and have a couple good accountants. Although , one used to be CFO of Harley dealership and wouldn't let me write off the Ultra for one of my businesses. But, he did say that I could write off mileage when I used it for business.
