Yup Greg. Wife wants nothing to do with trip planning for our big trip right now. Too much going on.

Do you have a good hitch set-up?

Define good....

Cat 4 hitch and will install a sway bar. Not necessary to get a leveling hitch. Going to install air bags and new coil springs on the 4 runner. Trailer dry weight is 2800lb. Plus a max of 539lb of gear.

My max is 5000/500.

I also need to ad a elec brake controller. Trailer has brakes.

I will need to do the rear axle seals and front brakes. Shocks are new. Bilstein's. Air bags will be the biggest help and only $100. New coil springs are less than $50.

I did too at first. Air bags will take care if it. Installing one wouldn't hurt and maybe after our Co trip we might decide we should get one. It just spreads some of the load to the front wheels.
