The noise isn't gone 100%, but close. I don't mind most of the noise these things make, but the racket from the rockers was too much. It drowned out all the good mechanical noise they make. They seem almost alive.

 

I'm home on a Sat nite, which is rare indeed for me. No drinking or partying tonight. Lost my Mom 2 years ago on this date. Left home when I was 17, but not because I had bad parents. Both were the best.

Mom, I still have your cell # in my phone. I know you're not gonna call, but haven't had the heart to take it out. Wish you would call and tell me to come over, you were cooking.

Dad misses you and I miss you. Love you.....

 

Jack, I believe she calls you often.
They're never really gone, they live on in our memories forever.....

I was sitting on her bed, holding her hand when she passed. At least I have that.

Went and picked up Dad today and took him to have breakfast together. Piddled some in his garden this afternoon. This evening is a time of reflection and memories...

 

Yup. Death can really make you reflect on life and what's important.
