Got called back from a nice ride for a guy who wanted to look at my GTO. He shows up and in a round about way tells me he has a 2007(?) RK with 1500 miles on it he's looking to trade on. Sez he bought it new, but can't remember for sure what year it is.


Older guy so maybe he is being straight up about it. I tell him that I'm sure it's a nice bike but the only way I would be interested in it is if I can flip it and make some money. If it is an '07, then high retail on it is just shy of $11K.


I tell him that there is no way I'm going to trade even on his bike and hint that if he's willing to add some scratch I just might be interested. He's supposed to think about it and call me back. We shall see what we shall see...

 

It is amazingnhow.somw guys will pay big bucks to a chick and not even get anything. Just to be around her or her companionship for a few hours...
Nuts.

I cannot seem to find the bike this guy was describing under the model year and color combo he claims it is.


He says it's two-tone like a teal green/cream.


I don't see that combo being offered in that year.

 

Maybe he doesn't know what model he has. I believe Heritage and maybe Deluxe were offered in that color combo.
