I had a hybrid solar system installed at two developed areas on the island before I retired ! Using a buy down program thru doe to finance thru a major company to install systems ane we paid for it thru the saving ! It reduced the amount of disel fuel we shipped to the island considerably and reduced emissions and noise pollution! At the final cost of 8.50 a gallon after loading shiping and transferring it was a obvious choice

Your electric bill must be higher than a cat's back. Our house is 90% electric, 3650 SQ. FT. Gas heat, but forced air. The summer time is our high season with electric bills ranging $125-175 if we keep it around 72 in the house. We pay 8.2 cents per kWh. Our winter is not as cold here as yours but our summer more than makes up for it.

Honestly Russ, I couldn't tell you right now what it is. I do know that like yours, ours skyrockets in the summer. We pretty much have something electrical going 24/7 here as well. Pretty frustrating.
And one more thing: This is a Bosslady deal. I had pretty much no input.
