Dutch iris bulbs securely nestled in their growing place, carpet vacuumed and now I am gonna find a manly pursuit to occupy my time....say, throwing in a load of wash.

That turbo job last night. Well it wasnt the turbo. 40 gallons of gas in a diesel tank! Lovely!

 

FWIW the customer was the one who wanted to throw a turbo at it before I could diagnose the issue.

 

Don't forget to clean the dryer vent.

 

In tank fuel pump?

 

I take it the Dodge wasnt a "Multi-fuel" like a military 2 1/2 ton or 5 ton is?

Yes but you cant run it to drain the tank. It will burn up the pulse pump. Have to drop the tank. Its a dually with the 60 gallon tank and its full of course. Just called him. 20 minutes after he filled up AT A DIESEL pump it **** the bit. Had ti confirm its gas other than the nose and taste test. It lit with a match. Diesel doesnt do that.



EDIT: guy just called. He drove to the gas station and now admits he effed up. Glad he didn't call the station all pissed off.
